Forgot another change I made. The gist timestamps the telemetry report to ABRP with the time HASS formatted the message Whereas I thought it could make any rough estimates ABRP makes more accurate to use the timestamp of the last change seen by HASS for any of the reported telemetry parameters.
I didn't change that from the gist and my speeds in ABRP are correct. The HASS component must somehow auto-convert m/s to mph, then that multiplication converts that to km/h ABRP units.
For instantaneous power, similarly the gist wasn't trying to provide that either, except when charging...
Attached, to their version I added support to post to the ABRP endpoint no more often than every 5 seconds. Also sending up a rounded version of the bearing because it updates too often. One note, for some reason my home assistant entities for charging energy aren't consistently getting updated...
We'll be in the Dallas area between Saturday April 6 and Thursday April 11, could deal in person for these with anyone interested during that time. Please PM me if interested.
My R1S was delivered in January and came with these. I put 2300 miles on them before moving to these AW01's.
Closely examining the wheels, I see two minor wheel defects noticeable only up close: #3 has a hairline 1/4" scratch at 4 o'clock, 3" from the edge next to the outer pocket; #4 has a...
I finally got it into the car wash this weekend.
I've got 500 miles on these now with maybe twice as much fast/65+MPH driving as normal, and it's showing 2.1 mi/kWh.
They left Discount with 44PSI per my TPMS, then at 200 miles I inflated them to 48PSI.
So to this point I'm doing 15% better...
Pic below is what they gave me. They didn't charge me anything maybe because I had insisted the OEM lugs would work. I'm a long-time customer, they probably didn't think it worthwhile to rock my boat.
Serg told me any basic thin-walled 22mm lug-length socket will work with the AW01 and OEM lugs.
Our AW01's came yesterday and our local Discount Tire mounted them with General Grabber HTS60 116T XL and installed on our R1S Quad today, and since then we got 2.43 mi/kWh over 28 miles driving around Boulder/Niwot CO. For comparison we'd been running the OEM 22's and had gotten 1.83 mi/kWh...
