I have parked my R1T at Newark. I just park in the economy lot because It's been my experience I can't rely on chargers to be available or working at these parking lots. BWI, DCA, IAD, EWR...I've parked my Rivian at them all, and they all advertise chargers and they are most always in use or out...
We figured since we had a halloween mode (fun lights, sounds, icons, etc). I figured Christmas mode was right around the corner, but no dice.
Sad Santa.
Good question, not sure about original pad thickness. But I would venture to say pad wear has been minimal.
I use one pedal regen on high, but have to use the brake every once in a while, such as when I miscalculate deceleration at a red light or when I get cut off.
We just crossed 10K Miles in the R1T! We took delivery around Memorial Day, so 6 months. A few service items but, overall, smitten.
I did my first tire rotation this weekend, rotating in the full size spare. These are my measurements with tread/brake pad remaining so far after 10K miles.

TL;DR
Early reservation, someone got his spec before him. Indignation over the line cutting.
Company not sufficiently providing rationale he feels he’s entitled to, rants on forum. Gives post dramatic title to grab clicks.
Took a rock to the windshield, bought a $18 windshield repair kit from Autozone, and have not had to deal with any spider webbing or additional cracking.
No argument that it is an apples to oranges comparison.
The accomplishment for Rivian is that their brand is being mentioned in the same breath as legendary McLaren. For such a young manufacturer, that’s pretty huge.
Did you find they had the best rates? GEICO just raised my rates 30% for “inflation”, so I’m shopping around.
Rivian’s are going to be damn expensive to insure once the actuaries start to price in these repair costs.
