Well I wasn’t losing my mind. Someone has put the steering wheel back on the wrong way apparently. It now tracks straighter than it ever has. I’m indeed happy.

I’m assuming the powered one will be fixed under warranty. the clips in the manual one broke. They are sending me a new one under warranty, which I’ll be selling

Im very concerned. Just had my subframe replaced and the alignment was so much worse than before I had to immediately take it back. Getting behind frustrated at this point. I’m not hopeful sadly.

INo Alexa woth Apple or Spotify is extremely annoying. I’m in a Chevy Equinox EV and the Google assistant is pretty flawless. Native google maps is also great. Not to mention it has text integration built in. Starting to lose some faith here especially given all the service issues.

Picked up the truck yesterday and alignment is worse than ever. Immediately pulls right when letting go of steering wheel. Had to take it back same day. No clue where to go from here. Anybody have an idea of what else I can have them check? Beyond frustrating. Two rentals driven on same road...

Just got a notice that my truck, which is at the service Center, got updated

I live in Irvine. No way I trust this system in carpool lanes in SoCal.

Just got very lucky. The service center had me slotted for the retrofit instead of fixing the manual. Pure chance.

The panels are all intact. It’s the POS plastic pieces that are broken.

My manual cover broke a while back. When I took it into service to have it fixed, they accidentally scheduled me for the power and they were halfway done with it before they realized what happened. I’m not sure what to do with the manual one now, except bring it in trips in case the power takes...

You are basically getting a new truck

I had my 2022 R1T in for service about a month ago and they noticed(finally) that the misalignment was being caused by a faulty subframe. They ordered the part and had me bring the truck back in, which I did Monday. They say it Shoukd be ready tomorrow. I’ll report back if I notice a difference.

I have my truck there currently for subframe replacement. Took it to CM SC at least five times for alignment issues and they never did anything. One visit at the Lake Forest site and they realized it needed the new and updated subframe. I’ll likely be going there from now on.

Good lord. That is scary. I dont know if I’ve read about this. If this happened at night in the freeway it could have been really bad. Glad you guys are all OK.

So the car came to an abrupt stop? As in you couldn’t even get to the side of the road if needed?

I used Americas tire here in Cali for the 21” Defenders. They have worked on a lot of Rivians and I had no issues. They were 85 bucks more expensive than Costco but were able to get the tires a lot quicker. My local Costco wasn’t even able to order them.
