Well to add some conclusion...The R1T showed up today! The delivery specialist from Rivian was early, and super nice. The truck is in great condition, none of the accessories including charger or spare tire showed up, but that is all in due time.
My cheeks are sore from smiling so much.
I guess these are the pains of early adoption. Just going to roll with it, hope for the best and see how it goes. But definitely it seems they are not yet ready for widespread adoption.
I am scheduled to take delivery in two days. My experience has been poor so far (buggy 8 step issues, rejected a truck due to wrong configuration). There are a lot of posts with deliveries getting cancelled 1-2 days out, which is my current timeframe, so I'm a little pensive about it all. I...
I was suppose to take delivery yesterday, got an email on Sunday saying they painted it the wrong color. This is after my 8 step process kept crashing. So now I have given them complete funds for an R1T, have taken insurance policy out on an R1T, but have no 8 step portal, and no timeline on...
Update 2: The 8 steps come and go at random times. Sometimes I can work on it. Other times I just email my guide and ask her to upload. Just taking it in stride. Namaste.

I just started the 8 step process, while I was putting in my trade-in information I got an error, and was unable to continue. Now when I click the original email link or try to log-in to my configurator, only my configuration is there, but not a place to continue the process. It was like it was...
Sept ‘20 order not a LE.
Changed my configuration from Canyon Red/No Tonneau to White/Powered Tonneau last week and was just assigned a guide.
Not sure if correlation or causation.
I think this market puts Pre-March holders in a interesting, totally 1st world…no complaints kind of spot.
Do you keep this great truck you have been waiting 2+ plus years for, or part ways with it $40k extra cash in your pocket.
As supply rises to meet demand, Sophie’s choice won’t have to...
Long time listener, first time caller here.
Is anyone on here who has taken delivery able to provide their insurance provider, rates, and amount of coverage for said rate? I know it's highly variable, but ballpark numbers would be interesting to see.
