Much more space. We have a rear facing car seat and the front seat isn’t usable with the R1T for taller adults. R1S is fine.
I think this is also exacerbated by the fact the second row in the R1S can recline and does not in the R1T.
Trade prices are for sure cheaper. If one has a hookup through their company, that’s the way to go.
Grainger isn’t cheap but they’re everywhere and open to the public, customer service is excellent and everything you buy from them is legit.
Another often used industrial grade NEMA 14-50 outlet is the Bryant 9450FR. Bryant is owned by Hubbell. A 9450FR sells for around $49 and a Hubbell 9450A currently sells for $213 at Grainger.
For those who want to head down a deep rabbit hole on these outlets, this is a well regarded thread...
In the 20” OEM size fitment?
This is verbatim what they told me about my preorder:
“The 275/65R20 MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX MS2 unfortunately MICHELIN is now saying they will not arrive into our warehouse until July 2024.”
I was also previously told fall of 2023. This email was the latest update...
ah, is that what’s happening? I couldn’t figure out the unique combination that caused this to happen.
Reverse plus no seatbelt plus not enough weight makes sense. I tend to look over my shoulder when backing down my driveway and it shifts into park. When I turn around I’m probably only partly...
@MidnightRivian it appears the next pending software release may address your issue:
For AC charging, if the connector becomes too warm, the vehicle automatically lowers the power to safely continue charging, and a message appears on the driver and center displays.
@beinenson thank you so much for this post! I have a Liftmaster gate opener that simply wouldn’t program following Rivian’s instructions. Your instructions worked!
The gate opener is relatively new (2 years old) and has a learn button, so it’s rolling code. But, Rivian seems to think it’s not...
Agree, it might be a blessing to have a low VIN. Meridian sounds, 12volt inside cabin and frunk. Maybe wood surround the coat hook still?
Why not get it, see what you’ve got, check the fit and finish and then decide?
Few other thoughts about what May be causing this as well — shorter wheelbase may induce more twitchiness than an R1T. Also, new tires take a while to break in to have max traction.
Wouldn’t surprise me that, with four days to go before end of quarter, inventory shown in the R1 Shop is now limited to what can be delivered by then.
That would mean inventory that is either on site at the local SC or within a relatively short transport away.
