I’d say gen 2 is more refined. Some things better tech and MCU. The ride feels more refined a little stiffer. But that being said I like the gen 1 fuse box (I was able to add a 12v socket in front cabin) and ride is softer. If you weren’t saving money by upgrading I’d say skip it. But to me if...

Yeah you gotta ask the manufacturer. I would think they would not be retrofittable. But I could be wrong. They sent me the 2022-2024 version of the kit and then sent me the 2025 brackets separately.

I used 3 brackets on each side my Gen 1 R1T and 2 brackets on each side of my Gen 2 R1S. The brackets are different between the 2 generations.

the new instructions only ask you install 2 brackets only 1 and 2. Tech support confirmed only 2 are needed. Here’s the updated instructions- they are pretty bad but if you read it a couple of times and look at pictures closely you can get it it.

Damn I installed literally yesterday after work. Followed their new pretty poorly designed instruction. Thanks for sharing! The new brackets are definitely stronger than previous Gen.
