i used turbo tax to prepare amended return and then submitted via mail. i was told IRS won't accept online amendment after october. so for 2022, can't do online amendment after oct 2023. are you able to do it online? turbo tax didn't let me.

i am in almost similar situation where i took delivery in Dec, 23. I amended my 2022 Tax return and mailed in the updated forms along with Form 8936, proof of purchase.because it is mailed in, no idea how long is it going to take.
