I have only used EVgo once and it was trash and overpriced.
EA gets a lot of shit but it’s because they’re the biggest network that people interact with the most. I only charge at EA and Rivian (and soon Tesla). I don’t have time to fck around and get fck’d by EVgo, chargepoint and other small...
Last service center trip, I was given a Lucid Air touring as my rental. Really liked it. Drives super super nice. Interior is really luxurious. Did a trial of Tidal so I could test out some Atmos songs on the speakers. It was nice (not as nice as my Sonos system doing Atmos at home though)...
Reservation cash cannot lead to profits because it’s not counted as revenue. It’s actually accounted for as a liability on the books until the order is delivered (or alternatively cancelled)
Go look at the ID.4 subreddit some time and read all the comments from people bragging about how much they’re “saving” by never charging at home and sitting in a Walmart parking lot for 40 minutes twice a week.
Yes, mine will be warm when I get there. Really nice. Also you need to turn on the steering wheel heater in advance because it’s the weakest heated steering wheel I’ve ever used
I don’t think anything official has been announced. Also, I’m a ford owner and it’s February this week and I’ve had zero communication on this and there’s nowhere to buy / get an official adapter
There’s a surfaces toggle between heat and cool. Yours is on cool and only shows the front two seats because those are the only ventilated options. If you toggle to the red heated icon, you will see the rear seats and the steering wheel as options as well.
cool story. My first car was a Plymouth and I am completely soured on the company and my experience is the opposite of yours. You’re welcome to feel however you want to feel. I’m just sharing that I feel that Stellantis group is eternally blacklisted for me personally (along with VW. Everyone...
Look - I’m a simple guy. I see a Stellantis / Fiat Chrysler / Daimler Chrysler / whatever the dumpster fire wants to call itself next decade and I avoid at all costs.
Plug share data sucks though. The de rated charging session at 37 kW is going to reflect as a success. I don’t think PlugShare in its current state is useful in a way that ABRP could rely on it. Same goes for EA to a degree since they don’t relay information about current charging speed limits...
I picked a vehicle out of the shop a couple weeks ago and it will be here at the end of the month. It’s a 7xxx VIN and I don’t really care. It has front PPF though so I’m wondering if that’s what held it up in Normal
I mean you have to use the data that is available to you. If the charging providers don’t make APIs available for you to use, you can’t incorporate the charger status. Additionally, the most common issue I see is chargers that are de-rated (ex. EA 150/350kW chargers being de-rated to 37kW). I...
I just don’t understand why you would want to use it in those scenarios. It’s not useful. The example route above sounds like a specific edge case on one short route.
As far as incorporating charger status, how do you think that would work? It seems like they have launched a solution here with...
A lot of ABRP hate from people that I feel like don’t understand what it’s for. ABRP isn’t for trips where you need only 1 charging stop (or no charging stops).
It’s for a full day drive with multiple stops, and it’s super useful because it plans for your charging curve to optimize when you...
