  1. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

Let’s at least get one thing straight. The only person insulting anyone here is you. Also, I am very busy intellectually to take time out of my day to converse with a keyboard warrior. I have zero interest in exploring your lack of humor. As I’ve already said in my OP, I am not debating the...
  2. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

I posted the article so I wouldn’t have to explain. If you need my explanation of why I think it’s alarmist, biased, and exaggerated; no, I don’t really care to bother. Honestly, it sounds like you need to start your own thread for a ground up discussion for those willing to go back and forth...
  3. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

Especially in crowded areas! You sir, are a danger to the public!
  4. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

Exactly. It’s a flawed and biased article. Borderline ridiculous like I’m pointing out. They left almost everything out counter to their point and use anecdotal evidence while admitting there is no research. But you have even those who own EVs here validating the stupidity. Of all things...
  5. New policy: can no longer transfer your own vehicle in Rivian system to another individual without proof of new ownership (registration, title, name)

I don’t know why people needed you to repeat yourself for 3 pages to finally understand this. Ridiculous. Agree, makes zero sense.
  6. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

I’m done repeating myself to you people. The weight of BEVs has been discussed here numerous times. There’s nothing to debate. I agreed with what the article was written about, just not the article itself-which was written poorly. That’s it. If you find that “the definition of hyping something...
  7. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

Like I said. I’ll be sure to be more sensitive for you next time.
  8. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

That’s cool. You don’t see that in the article because it’s not meant to be taken literally. Why do I have to explain this? Lighten up bud. It’s an Internet forum. I apologize for not creating a more extensive disclaimer for you regarding obvious inferred findings related to the article that...
  9. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

The title of the thread is none of those things. It’s a joke. It’s in jest and not meant to mislead or offend anyone. I would hope anyone with a sense of humor could see that. Stop.
  10. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

I’m not trying to hype anything political and this post is not meant to be conservative. If it were, it’d be an oxymoron. The point is purely the idiocy of the article.
  11. EVs are killing machine road missiles.

I get the physics. It’s a big duh. But with all of the hate and debate I’ve had over the years; I find it hilarious that we’ve suddenly gone from driving wussy liberal fake truck hemp wagons to driving bonafide high performance street cruise missiles...
  12. Should I add Underbody Shield to my configuration?

Every vehicle underbody I’ve had in Colorado gets destroyed within a few years, just on logging roads and rocky areas. The Treg I’m still driving has its panels hanging on by zip ties and both front/rear panels are bent. I’d get it.
  13. Update: Your Max Pack Preorder - R1T’s Max Pack only available w/ Dual-Motor. Unavailable w/ Quad-Motor starting 2023

If I don’t hear any further clarification by the end of January I’m switching to the large pack Quad. I’m not gonna pay an extra 8 grand to be a beta tester for their dual line up. With potential of not benefiting from the the tax credit, an extra $15,500 for 50-70 miles of range at muted...
  14. Update: Your Max Pack Preorder - R1T’s Max Pack only available w/ Dual-Motor. Unavailable w/ Quad-Motor starting 2023

I was considering the 2023 ZR2 until I saw the fuel economy. This is nothing new. All of us Max preorder holders have gotten Sh** on since the beginning. No reason to believe waiting until 2024 won’t be another bait and switch. Its literally become their business model at this point.
  15. MSNBC Article: Rivian Falls Apart

At this point it’s pretty obvious you need another. Here’s the link. https://truthsocial.com/
  16. Rivian configurator showing new EPA range estimates and removal of nearly all Adventure Gear options

I would further add to this, assuming a lot of us still waiting for our truck are Max pack holders who have gotten consistently crapped on since the very beginning. We have the right to gripe.
  17. Rivian configurator showing new EPA range estimates and removal of nearly all Adventure Gear options

It’s not about that. It’s about buying an $80k truck that doesn't even come with a spare tire anymore. You don’t buy first class airline tickets and pay for the hot towels.
  18. Max pack order invited to R1T Shop. Again...

I’m a 2020 Max order. Got access to the shop last week as well but I’m also holding out. Dog man called it though, here they go raising prices again knowing there’s not enough of us to fuss about it. I love Rivian. I understand increase of costs. But this is a real sleazy way to run the company...
  19. Rivian configurator showing new EPA range estimates and removal of nearly all Adventure Gear options

Keep in mind there are still thousands of pre March Max orders. This is BS. They get slayed for raising the price $20k last March on all preorders. They back track. Now they’re back at it, slowly chipping away in a less conspicuous way to achieve the same exact thing without the same PR...
  20. Max Pack delayed to 2024 according to configurator / email ?

I’m starting to have my doubts that they’ll honor our pre-order pricing in 2024 for the Max pack. They’re are in no way obligated.
