They look like the Dodge Ram Hellcat Replica Wheels, just in gloss finish, that you and I talked about months ago...which is what I am still running on my R1S:

Anecdotally, I use Wheel Every Weekend security mounts to secure my RTT to my Rivian crossbars, and as others have noted, all 3 crossbars are NOT level when installed on the R1S. What I have done to balance things out is to use 2 washers as spacers paired with each locking nut (totaling 8...
Overland Vehicle Systems (OVS) Bushveld hardshell RTT: https://overlandvehiclesystems.com/18089901-bushveld-hard-shell-roof-top-tent/
It's bigger than my king size bed and my family of 4 fits just fine. YMMV
And as far as camping tips...there's just too many, but as @VSG said, you should...
THIS ^^^^
They must add Camp Mode features to the app...not just the rear screen (which would still be an improvement)! Having most/all Camp Mode features, as well as more granular HVAC control, via the app would be EXTREMELY useful for my use cases.
Great point! Indeed...they did tout the fact, in that Rivian article, that their platform had the bandwidth and capability to accommodate future feature set changes/upgrades for 3, 5 or 10years down the road. My R1S turns a year old in 3 days (after a 3 year wait), and will apparently be...
Well, I've got 20ft (10'x2) of U track rails, along with a Harbor Freight 440lb electric hoist attached to my ceiling via 2x6's. I store the suspended tent over a safe area in my garage, then effortlessly slide the tent over my truck when it's time to go on an adventure. This is to support my...
Since the fob does utilize BT, you can/should use your key card and/or the wrist band if you have one.
Also curious what you do with your phone??? If your phone is placed in a secure and shielded location once you arrive to work, couldn't your fob also be placed there? I can't imagine that...
Thanks for looping me in on these, but I'm good for now. Still have plenty of tread on my Wildpeaks, plus those LT's are too heavy for my use cases.
Good luck to OP on selling them tho. Good price. Will be someone else's gain
I have 22 darks as stock, then swapped to aftermarket 20's sitting on 275/60/20 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. My use case is that my 22s are only on a couple a months, and the majority of the time I'm on the 20s...as I offroad and camp frequently. The Wildpeaks 3 peak rated, and are capable and...
Yes, the OEM 21 wheels have the same offset as the OEM 20's at +48 if I recall correctly. You will need spacers storing one of the OEM wheels on the spare tire carrier that myself and others are using from this thread.
Good luck
There are only three fees that total my R1Ss $936 CA registration due in June:
Reg fee: $451
License fee: $473
County/district fees: $12
Expensive, but seems to be in line with everyone else's around here. R1Ss don't have a weight fee, so perhaps the R1Ts are getting hit with that fee, sending...
I use these crossbar RTT security mounts in conjunction with my Rivian crossbars: https://www.wheeleveryweekend.com/products/rtt-security-mounts?variant=44245427749142
I also use these lockable awning quick release mounts for my 270 awning and shower/privacy awning enclosure...
You can try this home (AC) Tesla to CCS adapter: https://a.co/d/3WsfKOG, as well as this one: https://a.co/d/4I8HQzK
I have used both, but either should suffice for your use case.
And.....you can add me to the list of charge port door failures. My R1S charge port door automatically closed after I unplugged it Monday evening to go on a quick drive. At the time, I thought "Oh, that's new...I like it", but when I returned home to open the charge port to charge, the door...
The crazy thing is...this just happened to me TODAY while returning from my first road trip in my R1S. It occurred while driving south on the 15 in Utah on my return trip back home to CA.
From my recollection, I had D+ engaged, with BOTH hands making contact on the wheel so as to comply with...
Do I NEED this...nope, but I definitely have a practical use case for this. It is also well thought out and versatile, and at $32 with the discount, it's a no brainer! ORDERED!
