Went out to charge the car this morning and noticed some odd behavior. The passenger door handles were out and the driver side wouldn’t open. Phone didn’t seem to do anything so I tried the physical key. Again nothing. I tried opening the charge port door and it opens like halfway, not enough to...

I removed the phone from the car and then re-paired it and it works now too...also had to turn up the volume when I did a test call as it was basically at 0. Not sure if that was a coincidence or happened once I re-paired the phone, but alas it works.

They are in the process of getting divorced...google it.

The Head of Production just quit for a job with Stellantis too. Lots of exec changes recently...

How do you get to this mysterious menu in the settings?

Same issue here! Was just coming to post about this. Hmmm I'll try rebooting phone, re-pairing it to the car, and if that fails, hard restart the car.

Update….Rivian replaced the charging pad and usb ports. All good now although the charging pad is finicky as we all know.

$1400 is criminal for this. Come on. It should be priced around 4-500 bucks.

Do we know what the max kw charging will be on the R2?

Seems like a lot of us are having this issue recently....

I chatted with a rep yesterday and he said it's either due to the heat or perhaps our electric company throttling us. I'm not holding my breath that it's either of those....we'll see if it recurs after the heat dies down this week.

This has become a recurring issue for me as well. Pretty annoying.

Was just coming here to post/look for a thread on this. I guess it's just due to the heat here as it's 91 degrees and I'm charging in full sun in my driveway.
