By hand - whenever I can not stand all the bugs and dirt. With it being CY, it shows quite a bit. Usually ends up being twice a month I hand wash with a very mild soap that my ceramics guy highly recommended. I am very very picky about the products I use.

THANKS! I detail my own car and handwash it when needed due to ceramics. I really enjoy turning up the music and cleaning my car, it's like therapy. -Kendra

SO good to know! YES UV protection is huge...I think that is a big key in that plastic turning "whiter".

Thank you for this reply! I hope the spray you use is not as runny as mine. It's like you have to spray and then quickly catch it before it runs down and then there is the muscle power to buff it in. Hard to keep the spray off the paint! -RivianMom

@ATL_R1S Thank you so much! What I have now requires extreme diligence, very watery and runny and then you have to buff it in. Ti top it all off it doesn’t last very long. ??

Plastic Trim Question: I use Black Diamond D89 Super High Gloss by PDP for trim restoration on my S. Anyone else use a product that lasts longer?

For what it is worth we have both the T and the S and BOTH have rocksliders. We attend every single Kansas City Rivian Club event. Come out and see them at our next event. All events are on FB and I just posted them on RF.
