Spotted this morning at Skyliner Sno-Park in Bend, OR. Has Michigan Manufacturers tags. First white one I've seen here. Others were either LG or ElCap.
As I was heading back home from my gravel bike ride (Phil's Trail Area but mostly forest roads and minimal single-track) I was passed by an R1T in El Cap with 20" AT wheels. Naturally, I shouted "Hey! That's my truck!" Much to my surprise, the truck slowed down and pulled into a parking...
I rode my gravel bike from the Frenchglen Hotel to the East Rim Trailhead (I was too pooped to pedal to the Summit Trailhead) back in Jul 2018. It was a pretty awesome view! We stayed at the Crane Hot Springs about an hour from the Frenchglen Hotel.
I keep checking the Oregon permits website and haven't seen any updates recently. So I'm not too surprised by the apparent lack of progress. BTW, I might be heading up McKay Creek Road Sunday on my gravel bike, weather permitting.
How long did it take you to inflate your kayaks? I have a SUP and would need to decide whether to keep it inflated or use the compressor when I arrive at the launch site.
