I also drove the Hyundai Ioniq 5 when they cranked the prices up in March. It’s more of a hatchback crossover but the AWD should have good power and it has a ton of space. Almost better than the e-tron
You can see Forest Edge on the third slide. tons of other factory pictures including a Midnight black R1S on 21s...hoods and tailgates in tons of colors

The SUV and Truck market is huge. How much of a market share does Rivian need to succeed...a 835 HP 7-seater SUV doesn't compete against an Ioniq5 or ID4. It doesn't even compete directly against an EQS SUV. The R1 models are flagship models just like the Tesla Model S was back in the day...
We have the same window and are both in CO. Spoke to CS yesterday and they said pricing should revert middle of next week once the update rolls out. Also don’t have a guide yet
not sure if they still have it, but they also have a program for chargers (only includes 2 or 3). I got our chargepoint charger through this and they provide a $500 credit, but you need to sign off for off-peak rates. Mine are 9pm-6am, but they offer multiple slots
Just go to 3893 Steele St and take a look. I contacted CS 2 or 3 times and was offered a test drive the next day.
my office is 5 min away, I drove past today and there were a ton of R1Ts there…missed the R1S prototype a few weeks ago and keep checking if anotherOne shows up
I agree with you. 98% on road use and 2% use where you need the spare. The weight savings are way more important and you can get a roof rack with a full-size tire for the off-roading days
I messaged them on the chat and they offered me two open times. They came to my house. I tried three times to get the test drive and third time was the charm. you have the earliest R1S delivery slot I have heard of...exciting.
I'm 6'7 and just test drove the R1T this morning (I have a R1S LE reservation). There is plenty of headroom (I didn't even have to move the seat to the lowest setting) and an adult still had enough room to sit behind me.
I had my test drive this morning despite the snow. Started at 9 and went for about an hour. I live right off I-70 and Youngfield and had the chance to drive down 36 to Golden and up I-70 towards Evergreen.
Some of my key takeaways:
UI and especially navigation/map looked way better then I...
I just reached out to CS and got a test drive tomorrow at 9 am in Golden :-)...my first Rivian permagrin. I have a June/July R1S LE reservation...SOOOOO excited...hope the snowstorm isn't too bad tonight...or maybe I should so I can try drift mode on my street
I’m unofficially out. Thanks Rivian…I made about $20k on your shares taking advantage of the share price roller coaster. Sold all my shares yesterday after I received the message of the price hike. I understand some of the need to increase prices, but this should have excluded launch...
I agree with you...two weeks ago I was told no price increase for LE holders...lying is worse than not saying anything or "more info soon"...I guess they were more interested in the extra $100mm in revenue from the approx. 10,000 LE holders than honoring their pricing...sold my shares at...
just go into your configuration and it will change. My R1S LE went from 78k to 92k. crossbar price up, floor mat price up...everything across the board...this moves the R1S too close to the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo...I'll keep my reservation to get a test drive in Denver, selling my shares...
