I got bumped from Oct - Dec 22 to Jan - Feb 23 for my R1S Launch edition 20AT. Preorder dat 10/19. Silver lining: I guess the family will get my attention over the holidays now!

I stopped by the Denver SC last week and there were more than a handful of R1Ss. Relaxed atmosphere so we could get close as long as we were respectful. Colors were limestone (looks great) and launch green.

Did you originally have OC? That’s what I selected but switched to BM after I received an email indicating OC might cause a delay. Perhaps they e gotten over that possibility?

I am in the same Oct-Dec window having been bumped from the June-July window earlier this year. My preorder date was October 2019. No word from a guide yet.

Congratulations! I’m visiting my parents in Denver and we stopped by the service center yesterday to check out the R1Ss on the lot. It’s been 3 years and three days since my preorder and hope to hear from a guide soon.

There’s clearly a risk to the ability of Rivian maintaining itself as a stand alone company. However, it has a lot of value from its technology, patents and production potential, so if if Amazon pulls it’s orders (if that is contractually possible), there’s a good possibility under that downside...

Keep us posted. This type of workmanship suggests poor QA. I wonder if they are so rushed to reach their production numbers, they are skimping on quality control.

Ocean Coast interiors for the R1S were causing delivery delays. I had to change mine to black in order to avoid that.

Seems like deliveries are somewhat random relative to pre order date. I have an R1S preorder on October 2019. Last I heard my delivery window is Oct-Dec ‘22. I haven’t heard anything since.

Wow. Congratulations! I ordered a year earlier to the month. My delivery window runs Oct - Dec so fingers crossed. I live in CT in the NYC metro area. Closest SC is Brooklyn.
