so what? Get lost dude and stop quoting me. It's my experience I shared with others and if you don't do it then great. I don't need you to point out BS
Nobody ever said I would close my eyes or an extreme to that nature. I used both my Tesla's and my Rivian to their full effect SAFELY regardless if you believe what I do is safe or not that's your opinion. I'm still alive today and I will still continue to use the self driving to it's full...
I had to hard reset twice in order for it to work. Literally happened shortly after I got it in December 2024. I think it was the cold at that time but it has never happened since.
The only way I can have partial front or partial rear in the tri motor is to play with the different modes.
Conserve - rear disconnect, front only
Standard- AWD but more towards the front
Sport - AWD but mainly rear
Winter - AWD but mainly front again less stability more tire spin
Off road mode...
If it's stupid bright outside making you squint it also disrupts the rea view camera. I feel bad for the Asians š¤£.... To all the Asian people I am so sorry for that joke.
Owning a '22 model y and now a Gen 2 R1T I have an opinion.
My model y I was able to drive hands off (with a weight) and eyes off not having full self driving and just the basic tier. It did really well everywhere including notifications of construction and other cars stop and go. Used it...
Instead of asking to upgrade I would of asked to just purchase the part so I can do it myself. Asking to upgrade they immediately think they will have to replace it which in turn they are liable.
visually the diameters can look the same (13ā14mm), but the real Gen 1 failures happened closer to the inner threads near the rack, not the outer shaft. Gen 2 rods are internally beefed up with stronger material and better thread engagement, not just girth. If youāre already doing an alignment...
Im grateful for this information and pricing. My next interest would be if you could get some video of how hard you can push the rivian without breaking the rods.
Please update after your trip! Happy trailing!
He said he frequently uses the tail gate pad and needs to constantly move the flap and hold it with his head. Now he solved the issue with this 3d print
I reboot when I need to which is usually 2 time a month. sometimes the camera freaks out, the airbags are slow, or something on the infotainment system is buggy after waking.
I dont mind honestly, as long as my rivian is still drivable I dont mind restarting it like my phone or tablet. Ill take...
Thank you for this. I towed my Jeep Wrangler (project yj) and went off roading with the Jeep first then took my tri rivian on the sand. Both were awesome. I wanted to try the trails with the rivian but was slightly scared since I just got it December 2024 (Gen 2).
After the fact I found out...
Just wanna add some 2 cents here if anybody noticed the same thing I did.
If you go to EVBase and search for rock sliders, there are several different options. Some options do and don't have panels but they all LOOK like and are the same products. I was confused at first but it is definitely a...
fyi.... they won't insure older vehicles.
Tried to insure my 92 YJ jeep and the rivian but wouldn't allow an option for the jeep but then they emailed me back saying "we cannot insure you at this time due to driving history and looking into your coverage you do not have the right coverage for...
I went with EvBase running boards. They were $600 compared to $1,300 for the stainless steel ones.
looks wise Iām sure the stainless steel is great but functionality wiseā¦. If youāll be going on the trails and scratching stuff of or replacing them due to damage Iād go for the cheaper evbase...
This would be great if Walmart wasnāt phasing out their overnight parking for RVās and campers. Traveling at night is no much better and cheaper than traveling and charging during the day.
