Pretty impressive. I may not be an early adopter but the instructions video is well thought through and the finished product looks really good on your video. Also, installation appears straight forward. Might have to get one as my wife is slow to get on board driving the Rivian as her main...
these cars are increasingly like computers....there's always a faster chip and processor and newer battery coming out tomorrow. Get your car when you need it if it meets your current requirements. If you wait for tomorrow's computer/car, it'll be outdated day after tomorrow.... figuratively...
we haev family account with each family member having their own. I use mine in the Rivia, so for me its fortunately not much of an issue. I have noticed, though, the playlist in the rivian can continue indepedent of the phone's playlist, which is not the case when I connect in the other cars...
Agree with you on that. Previously was on soft, but since latest update, we ride in stiff regardless of the height, which is usually standard and low if on the highway.
Was wondering the same. it's so obvious that car is pulling more than the stated rating - either the stated rating is incorrect, or he is pulling twice the max ... and more than twice the recommended (18A) max!
i use both. I actually have a decent sized garage depth but have a work bench up front with occasionally open drawers. I also like to pull forward quite a bit so i can despite those objects still open the trunk safely without scratching it with closed garage doors
i turned mine off after installing the Builtright tow hook plate which set it off constantly when driving very slowly, mimicking a park maneuver. I eventually repositioned the plate and turned it back on. It's somewhat intrusive but I prefer to have it on as I often park in narrow quarters...
it is money till the semi throws a stone and chips your windscreen and you are out all the dollars saved and more. I avoid staying behind trucks like the pest if I have my way. Three different dinged windscreens in the last half dozen years.
Have had to do it a couple of times with Inlaws' Model 3 during weekend visits. Worked flawlessly with the adapter. I also use my adapter on their Tesla charger for my R1S when I visit.
I guess given the right plug/adapter, electricity remains....electricity if delivery is assured. :)

did the reset. That cleared the dark screens, I still have only two "permanent tiles on the App tray and cannot slide any more. I can substitute any of two however. I guess I'm just going to roll with it as is for now till I go in for service or other issue.
I don't know if this has occurred to other owners: two updates ago - when we could move tiles on the App tray, i was substituting tile apps and actually moved up tiles from the main tray into the larger tile collection instead of swapping them out. I thereafter could not get the main tray to 4...
short click, long click....no guarantees in my case. Might work the first time but also not till the third try. After two attempts, I usually revert to the button on the large screen which in my case appears to function reliably. This is particularly true in the morning, while trying to drive...
