Okay boys. Just logged in and it let me set my delivery appointment for later this week. Hopefully it’s not a fluke. Orlando metro. Will update.
4/11 update. My appointment was cancelled. Was I guess a system error that allowed me to schedule when the truck apparently was still in IL. Should be...
Next delivery truck to Orlando *should* have my truck on it. I’ve got a vin assigned but it’s still in IL. Told em I’d pay now if they would activate the gps so I could track it as it crosses the country.
Exactly. I’ve bid on both sites a lot and never won anything and haven’t banned… sometimes they were joke ish bids to get it going and other times they were serious but idiots came in over paid… :)
This is mind boggling to me. Only guess is that they’re manufacturing whatever they have parts for and going down the list to see who has one that matches.
my understanding is that there is pretty clear evidence that tonneau is better than a closed tailgate which is better than an open tailgate. Obviously this is a generalization for all trucks and designs vary but hopefully someone will do a test but there so many variables you’d need to try a...
Couldn’t find any official data. anyone know anything about highway range being affected by the removal of the tonneau cover? Should hurt it but I’m unsure by how much. Hopefully negligible as I think covers are going to brake a lot but I’ve got a LE coming so I will probably just leave it open...
$140k Pricing too low? Lol
I’m surprised Rivian didn’t do a charity auction for the first few trucks. That said. I still think $140k is sort of silly for something that is market up and only scarce for the next year or so.
It’s not always that simple. For example there was a door handle (made by outside supplier) issue of not quite matching the body color. That said, I were them, ramping up, I’d try and batch make as much as possible and why not start with the most common build to get issues worked out.
Not defending this quirk but in the meantime just try and pick an address that’s closer to actual location. A current location button makes total sense as there are plenty of places where I’d probably want to automatically not use it
It’s still a change and requires some level of training. it’s an unnecessary complication. This is Six Sigma White belt 101. That reminds me, I miss 30 Rock.
No one knows for sure but it makes sense to run the entire LE production and then switch over. Even if there are some obscure locations, you’d reasonably go ahead and assemble those HI/AK LE’s now. Just makes logistical sense and then you’re converting the line over. That said, the exception...
