LOL this whole Guide thing is really wild. Mine is OOO and just chatted with a different one who was not even remotely paying attention to my question and I had to repeat my question 3 times before he actually answered it.
also gave me completely different info than my regular guide who told me...
nah. My guide has been ghosting me this week. They were on PTO a week ago and had sent a message telling me someone else to reach out to when that happened and I chatted with them after the layoffs happened, so don’t think it’s either of those. Must be really busy with all the CA wondering why...
yeah, I definitely think guides should have a better message around the 8 steps, and Rivian, too. Getting step 1 done early is cool and all, but they should set more realistic expectations for folks on the other steps. If your truck is still 3-4 weeks out, don’t suggest I need to have financing...
yeah, I was last told they are expected to arrive in SSF on 8/5 but guide also made a note that there has apparently been a recent Covid outbreak, so could be an issue with timing.
my guide was super responsive before, but reached out on Tuesday about a quick question and haven’t heard back. So...
According to my guide, truck should be arriving in SSF anytime this week. Did the SC call you to schedule delivery just after it arrived? Sounds like they’re still doing QC on it?
My guide told me again today that they expect my truck to arrive at the SSF service center next week. They will then do an inspection and reach out about delivery.
oh interesting. Just checked and mine says that now, too. As you said, before it would give me my guide’s contact.
I’ve always been curious what they mean by “preparing.” ??‍♂️ Seems “preparing” is used for the whole 8th stage rather than like “building” “in transit” etc.
My guide has told me it’s okay to wait to do insurance until I get the call from the SC around scheduling the delivery. Same with payment. There didn’t seem to be a big concern that every single step had to be done prior to having a more solid delivery date.
I was most recently told my truck is...
curious. What’s your VIN range? Mine is in the 9100 - my guide told me it is rolling off the line now and will be in transport, but then I saw on Reddit someone saying they are in the 9400 range and their truck was already at the service center, so I’m a little confused on where the truck is lol.
Yeah, we decided to pass on doing the Fisker Ocean One. The $5k being non-refundable just wasn’t okay with me. If it was refundable, we probably would have done it. Also, the range in production dates is pretty wide and they will begin producing the Extreme within the same timeframe as the One...
A few months ago it seemed like 21 wheels weren’t being delivered, so I changed to 20s just to see if I got any traction. Saturday morning I changed back to the 21s because it seems that 21s and 22s are what are popping up in the store based on people’s screenshots.
Got my updated delivery...
I went from July-September 2022 to November-December 2022 ?‍♂️
I have the most basic config - Glacier White, BM, 21 tires, power tonneau and live within 50 miles of either the SF service center or Sac one. Makes zero sense to be moved back so far. ??‍♂️?
