This seems like a great set of features. I've updated my car but haven't had a look yet.
That being said, I'm really excited about the trip planner. I assume if you set departure SoC that it actually schedules that charge level for the vehicle. If so, that is an amazing feature.
This brand looks nice, I think my neighbor has one on his Silverado. Depending on the price I could be interested in this instead of the outrageously expensive rivian solution (which can’t even be ordered yet if you took a truck from the R1 shop)
@EV Sportline or @BrookeRRiv do you have any recommendations of who I might be able to reach out to in the Chicago area to get a quote on an install for the sliders? I don’t have my sliders yet, but I thought it might be wise to start investigating now. I don’t have many of the tools to do the...
Wow, watching these videos I cant believe Rivian signed off on this compressor unit. How was this not caught during their testing? Shameful that Rivian hasn't fixed this yet.
Wow that lomax one does look awesome. Please let us know how it is! At roughly $900 that cover looks better to me than the OEM Rivian offering. Rivian could've had my $1800, but they removed the tonneau from my order when I bought a truck out of the shop...
Yeah I agree this looks real to me.
In any case I'm really hoping these are in the gear shop soon. My original order had a manual tonneau on it, but when I selected my shop R1T it didnt "come with" the manual tonneau so I lost my place in line. Dying to get one.
This may seem like a silly question, but I'm normally somebody who likes to fly fish, so I don't often have to worry about fitting a long 1pc rod in my vehicle. I'll just toss my rod tubes in the backseat or the gear tunnel along with my waders and boots and so on. That being said, I've felt...
I think it is a real concern but I think it’s too early to sell. I’m sure Rivian is thinking about how to handle this evolving situation. I think give it a month or two to see how they respond
I finally scheduled a service appointment for this. I'm just shy of 1k miles and took delivery of a February build in March. It appeared around 3 or 400 miles. My appointment isnt until July so I cant add much detail to this yet. I'll update this thread once I know more.
That is awesome. I really love the 20" rims and I wanted the flexibility of 20" when it came time to swap tires. The only thing I don't love are the AT tires. They are really inefficient. I love how they look, I have to admit. Bookmarking this for when my ATs wear out.
I mean I think the Lightning looks like an awesome truck. I love my R1T and I chose it over the Lightning and the Silverado EV I had on reservation because it fits what I want to do with a truck more. My family likes to go camping, I like to fly fish, I need to occasionally haul or tow objects...
My brother just lost a lighter this way this weekend while in the passenger seat. The carpet isn’t all the way down and it seems to have disappeared. I’m having service fix the carpet and fetch the lighter, among other things that need servicing
Yeah I mean kempower and others are having a lot of success in Europe with CCS, as is Tesla! There needs to be one standard. Tesla is the bad actor here, and Ford is enabling. Sure, Tesla charging port is smaller but at the end of the day who cares at all? It’s delivering electricity and the...
