I'm eyeing a couple travel trailers now with ~650lb tongue weight, mainly the Keystone Cougars 22MLSWE. My 115 load index tires ain't gonna cut it. What do y'all recommend? My priorities are:
-Don't explode under weight
-Good efficiency (relative to towing losses)
-Handle well in winter (I'll...
I did gloss PPF on front clip, 67k miles and no issues. It's definitely saved a few dings and scratches, which "self healed" just fine and are barely noticeable after a week or so.
The real noticeable ones are on my silver front fascia that I PPFd gloss black. That thing is loaded with chips...
67k miles and mine finally started to pop off. I'd say for a $200 trim piece that sees a lot of wear and tear, literally designed to take it, it's money well spent.
I ordered one directly from the partner portal online, took a couple weeks, but popped it in no problem.
Discontinued, but still scattered around if you know where to look: https://www.amazon.com/Falken-Wildpeak-AT3W-Terrain-Radial/dp/B01C53C6XS
I'm still running these on my AT/winter wheels. While I don't recommend 115 load index now that there are plenty of 116+ options, they've been nothing but...
I figured as much with hazing and lines, so didn't want to try messing again too hard. No dirt I could tell, a couple baby bubbles but I'll let the sun take care of them. I got a little scared of over-squeegying and scraping it, haha.
Edit:
$700 and it doesn't even plug in?!? Absolutely not.
I got this dual zone fridge/freezer for $220 and it is way more useful than that atrocity: https://a.co/d/adZLzLB
All done! A few lessons to pass before I share pics:
-make more soapy water than you think
-when it comes to your table for rolling out the film, it's never big enough (that's what she said); get/make the biggest surface you've got
-spray the soapy water all the damn time
My initial baby bottle...
@twraps I'm thinking about installing this today, my truck is wet from the rain so I figure I can at least clay bar my windshield and get it really clean. It needs time to cure in the sun, right? But that can happen over the next week and doesn't need to go out in the warm/sun immediately, correct?
Which location did you go to? And did they use the same glass or install new? Both they and Rivian said they would not reuse the glass when I had issues.
I've noticed the same, same sound like it's giving up the wheel and throttle, but it doesn't actually do so. I grab the wheel and put my foot on the pedal, but it just keeps cruising.
