Assuming you have a Gen2 (no improvements listed for Gen1)? And not sure if the same is true for Ge2, but I used to do a soft reset after every update as I often found that sound would only come from one side. To be fair, this seems to have been resolved for Gen1, but maybe give it a shot?

I think the easiest way to check this would be infrared thermometer the calipers before and after assist and no assist on the same stretch of road, same ambient temps, etc etc etc. Having said that…Nice writup!

Mine was built 4/20/23. I am eligible. I wonder if there is some misinformation out there. *Guessing* that if you have the rails for a cover they can retrofit.
