In the plugshare app make sure you have this option selected. Also, in the Tesla app or on the Tesla website you can select only chargers that are compatible with "other EVs"

I did not try any of those things.

I hooked up to the 12v outlet in the gear tunnel. That outlet has no power when the vehicle is off. The camera starts recording again as soon as I wake the vehicle. No extra intervention required.

The internet says 150 degrees. There is no apparent fisheye effect. The camera quality is very good. Much better than even the Rivian Gen 2 camera. I forgot to mention in my post but I’m comparing to my Gen 2 Rivian camera system.
