@scooter My apologies. didn't see your message until now. We did a demo drive for 3 hours from the Menomonee Falls locations for my wife to get exposure to and do a garage fit. Sadly, she was not a fan of the R1T and didn't like it's length. We are now leaning towards R2 as preferred or a...

I will keep you in mind as I am in the hunt for a lightly used Gen 2 R1T. If it comes with 20’s, I will follow back around as I would prefer 22 bright or darks, not range.
Nice to meet ya and thanks for sharing all the above. Very very cool!
I am currently not a Rivian owner, but a VERY VERY big fan & supporter of Rivian's mission, vehicle design/UI and the community associated with it. We have a 2013 Prius V (+/-154K miles) we are looking to replace. I have an...
Was an awesome expo. Test drove just about eveything there. Had the pleasure of test driving a Quad R1T with Patrick Scales of Rivian. You might recognize him from a few past Rivian made video like Snow Mode:
Awesome guy. Shared a bunch of off road stories as well as that he has had the...
They have a loan to help that along as well as they know can't live off of R1's going forward at the going price and lack luster market demand for. They need to get vehicles out closer to $40--50k...not $80-100k. The Normal expansion and GA plant is crucial in making this happen to supple local...
Congrats on the new Gen 2 quad! Thanks for sharing your experiences with the Gen 1 quad. I hope to own a lightly used Gen 2 R1T in the near future. Hearing all these great stories and experiences really heightens the want/need.
Word has it, it’s a lot. They were already over 100k orders mid last year and climbing. They are only running 1 shift in 2026 then ramping to a 2nd &3rd shift gradually over 2027. Maximum they can make 155k R2’s a year. More than likely starting with Dual motor as that is typically popular. Also...
Just reserve an R2 to get in line as it is only $100 refundable. Make the decision then on moving forward after you test drive an R2 for real comparison. Yor probably looking at very late 2027/early 2028 at best to getting into one depending on reservation # & preferred build specs given how...
A vehicle that can allow one to easily upgrade the "hardware" (plug & play) towards being able to run software updates long term. I feel this EV world will be hardware restricted like a PC trying to run a newer windows when the other components (frame, battery, motors, suspension, etc) can last...
This would easily be $250 at other Dealerships where they would love to find something the warranty doesn't cover. Better to catch anything that may be showing early wear to get it corrected sooner than later under warranty.
Hats off to Rivian for catching, being honest and trying to fix. Shit happens and they will still deliver. Just not as fast as you may initially like. Be patient as Rivian will get it done right. This is why there is a QA/QC process before you receive.
This is great to hear as a person who typically owns their car for at least 8-10 years to get as much ROI out of it. Depending on wire harness communication ability, I question if cars of the future will have the ability to upgrade/replace hardware with ease to further extend their life cycle of...
