I too have done this trip twice... from Bend to LA the first time and had some concern about charging, finding charging, and stopping for extended periods.. It all worked out just fine..
Fast forward to last month I drove from Bend down to San Diego.... With two dogs and I have zero...
I have that tent as well. Is your question how to find a bolt that will fit the threads as well as in the slot? you could find the right size and use a washer..

You’d just have it till the next exchange. Keep human error out of the recharging. All EVs when purchased don’t have a battery. That’s the responsibility of the exchange station

from what I can tell none of those will work with the superchargers.. they all seem to be level 2 ..
if you know of an aftermarket one that will be compatitable with the Tesla Superchargers please attach a link!

I haven't actually researched the reasons.. but why haven't they adopted a battery standard and have exchange stations rather then recharge stations?
We change the battery's in just about everything else... drive it... they flip a switch that removes your battery and replaces it with a full...
Does anyone have a link to an adapter I can buy that would work with Tesla chargers... Headed in a couple days on a 2,000 + mile trip and would sure be nice to have that option.

easily handles anything I can throw at it and surprisingly well..
precondition it before you get in at 75. Seems to do wonders with visibility
