The jumpers are not lit, no 12V, when car is on. Rivian can easily program around this, but choose not to. If other major OEM’s can do this (towing with ADAS)…sometimes I get so frustrated with Rivian‘s timidity I could just scream.

The 12V battery jumper wires behind plug opposite the 7 pin.

Several problems. First, the 12V jumper wires are attached to the battery somehow, but no 12V is detected when Rivian is powered on. So will have to go into the bed or further forward to get 12V. Why Rivian only put 12V in the gear tunnel is beyond me. Could somehow wire a 120 to 12V converter...

Anyone install a Tekonsha ZCI to get around Rivian's ridiculous ADAS lockdown while a receiver bike rake light (brake and turn signals) is plugged into the 7 pin? Seems pretty straightforward. The 12V from the jumper wires could be used to power the Tekonsha.

Anyone is the Tekonsha ZCI to trick the Rivian?

I thought having a receiver bike rack plugged into the 7 pin with 4 pin adapter and in Accessory Mode in Trailers I would have some Driver+ features, but it’s the same as pulling a trailer. Why? Any way around this aside from wiring a 4 pin. Also, what is that plug opposite the 7 pin?

Rivian service had to add the key card OTA.

Key card is shown as active in the Rivian app, but is not being detected or shown in car. Why? How can I get it back?

Anyone make magnetic sun visor hook’s for the Rivian? I installed some on my older Model 3. So much easier to pull out. On the Rivian I am afraid of breaking them or ripping the visor off.

Agreed, tech while towing need works, a lot of work. Came from a F150 Powerboost with Blue Cruise. Adaptive cruise and lane centering while towing was nice. Rivian pretty much turns all sensors off. Towed 13K with a Gen 1 R1T. You get used to the annoyances. Moved to a Gen 2 in hopes Rivian...

Agreed. There is a light directly above the port, but the main light bar overwhelms it. Rivian could just disable or dim that small section light bar when charge port door is open. Easy peasy.

See attached. Note position of Velcro attached to the shirt. I repositioned it to make the window fit tighter. Also driving at highway speeds the window zippers unzip slightly. Added a string attached to the zipper pulls and ran it under the velcro of the corner shirts. Where in MN? I live in...

Turn the volume of the turn signal down. Maybe even change it to something a little more soothing. Oh, and make the interface snappier on Gen 2's. My Gen 1 was faster.

Here are the range and efficiency numbers. Note in general range went up, efficiency went down. Makes no sense.

Did not clear it as I wanted an efficiency number for the entire trip. I put 13K miles towing on my 2023 and this did not happen. Did not have to use ABRP. I know it’s wrong, but a someone new would not until they are several miles out from a charger and the truck dies. Garbage in…garbage out.

This is about the towing range I got on my 2023 R1T DM Max pack. If this is a bug, it’s a big one. Should not be using this inflated range to calculate how much to charge and how much range at the next stop. Again Rivian should be using ABRP’s calculations.
