It used to be this way and I have a feeling that since Rivian signed a deal with Tunein (For one free year of premium) they are probably required to put the homepage up every time.
ESPECIALLY since tunein is now doing quasi ads for their own service on the home screen (Garth Brooks Radio).
Mine is crap too and falls off all the time. My wifes Hyundai has similar problems where the only way to take plastic body panel parts off is to break all the clips and put a new one on.
So much for helping the environment with all this "single use" crap.
They shouldn't as you would need to swipe the card on the outside handle to lock it. When my truck had to be towed once Rivian told me to leave the keycard in the car and when the tow truck called me to remote unlock the truck.
TuneIn moved some of the buttons around up top. Basically just condensed it all together and it looks better. I'm assuming Spotify did the same but I don't use it much
Honestly i feel like no one on the Rivian software team owns an Android phone because it seems like the app has just been ported from the iPhone and that's the end of it. I've found so many bugs in the software just because i use and Android phone vs iPhone and so far nothing has really been...
As others have said, Rivians DO NOT operate like his Ioniq 5 so there is nothing to worry about. There is a bit of deadzone where the lights don't come on when you start regen but it's very small.
So there are closer service centers coming but no firm dates yet. I've heard Burbank is hopefully by the end of the year but who knows. I've also heard of one being rumored for Oxnard, but again, no date given.
I share your pain driving to El Segundo though.
