  1. Driving on wet roads in conserve mode

Fellow PNW owner here- I haven't experienced the problem you describe driving on wet roads. I am in conserve mode 90% of the time. Maybe just driving technique, as I drive to be efficient. I only lost traction with my 21" tires slightly once when I did a launch in sport mode on dry pavement...
  2. Using more battery energy since the last software update?

Yes, I have noticed I'm not getting the same efficiency. I assumed it was the weather change, but now that you mention it, could be the update.
  3. What screws to fasten OEM Front License Plate Mount ?

I guess it's hit & miss. They gave me 8 screws to compensate for no 12v outlet in my trunk?
  4. What screws to fasten OEM Front License Plate Mount ?

There should have been screws in the mount. I just got my plates and installed yesterday- both front & back mounts had screws. Half inch long sheet metal screws.
  5. Power Tonneau still configured. Now what?

When I got my invite to confirm my configuration back in September, my guide told me I could get the truck much sooner if I changed from manual to auto tonneau. I went ahead and changed it on the spot & had my truck 2 weeks later. So, I think your best choice would be to wait until time to...
  6. How many Rivians near where you live?

I live in the greater Seattle area, and still have only seen one Rivian- when it was delivered to me on a truck. Everyone I know has been reporting sightings for the past year, knowing I had a pre-order. I expect to see more in a day or so when I go to Bellevue to get my recall inspection.
  7. How to haul long material without cargo bars

I consider the worst that can happen- in this case a broken rope, and lightweight plastic scattering across the roadway. Seems attempting to tie down to the bed would be less safe. An under pod could be practical on a vehicle like this with all the unobstructed clearance underneath if attach...
  8. How to haul long material without cargo bars

Got my R1T delivered about 3 weeks ago. Needed to haul some 10' conduit to my other house 40 miles away for the wall charger install. The charger had arrived, but not my cargo bars, so I had to improvise. With no driveshaft or exhaust system in the way I just used a rope between the front tow...
  9. Broken tonneau, cracked roofs, pooling water, keys not working....taking delivery now seems like a joke.

From the responses here, I get the impression that the majority of trucks are problem free. Would that be a reasonable conclusion? I've been getting a little nervous about potential problems with my truck when it arrives in a few weeks. Worried it might have to spend a lot of time at the...
  10. The Insignificant Club (Explore Only)

Changed my Explore/Maxpack reservation to Adventure in an attempt to get an earlier delivery window than 1st half 2023. Will see if it changes when the configurator adds delivery estimate next month. If it doesn't improve the delivery timeframe, I will likely change back to Explore. The only...
