I admittedly only quickly skimmed the presentation you linked, but I don't see anything about non-placard holders being able to use an ADA charging spot if all the other charging spots are taken. If that is in the presentation, can you please let me know what page it's on?
I think what some people miss is that for traditional dealerships ALL service work is revenue generating. It doesn't matter if it's warranty work or post-warranty work, the dealership is getting paid. For post-warranty work, the customer is paying(same as would be the case in a world where...
Do people really consider the frunk to be a "secure storage" area? I certainly don't. All one needs is to remove a couple of easily accessible screws with a screwdriver to make the manual frunk release available.
You'd think the math would be that simple, but it's not. In the 3 month span between when you book the appointment and it actually happens, other owners are having high impact issues that need to be prioritized. Rivian is also delivering a lot of new vehicles during that timespan, many of...
I think they do it to try to look even worse than they already look. Right now it's about a 3 month wait for an appointment, for which your car will sit for 2 weeks, and people rightly complain about the fact they can't get an appointment for 3 months. Imagine how much complaining there would...
Early on(2016) in my Tesla ownership they used to wash your car for you when it was in for service. You could also decline the wash if you didn't want it. Sometime in 2017 they discontinued that service. It was one of the first overt signs that they didn't really see themself continuing...
Others asked, but you haven't responded - what exactly are you using now that gets you 3.5 miles/hour? We have to assume it's the Rivian mobile charger with the 14-50 on it and an adapter that converts the 14-50 into a 5-15 or 5-20 that you plug into your 120V 20amp outlet, and that you...
Is the exsiting 20amp 120V line a dedicated circuit? If so, you might be able to just change the breaker from a 1-pole to a 2-pole and change the outlet from 5-20 to 6-20. That would get you a 240V 20amp circuit instead. It would charge at ~7miles/hour. The cost would be negligible...
Oh totally, I agree with that. I'm sure there's high interest here. I got my gen1 quad by just happening to get lucky refreshing rivianroamer at the right time. Hopefully the posts by meshguy help some other forum members to do the same.
By now it's obvious that you have a bot that alerts you when these show up. But the question is - does that bot also auto-post to this forum thread for you as well? :)
All the good deals are gone already. The only legit good deals were the 2024 Quads, and only if you leased. They were giving lease incentives on those in the form of inflated residuals and low money factors. 2023s can't be leased, and you're right that you'd have to be insane to outright...
I can't say with 100% certainty, but I think it's mostly the sales tax on your "a)Capitalized Cost Reduction". What is the sales tax rate where you live, and does that math out approximately correct?
They must have set it up this way intentionally. They'd rather not be giving out a $755 spare tire for basically free to everyone who got $750 shop credits from being a referral/referree. They'd much rather have those $750 shop credits being spent on much higher margin merchandise.
I'm on android and have "iptv smarters pro". It looks very much like "iptv smarters lite" used to look to me. Although technically neither pro nor lite are available on google play store anymore. Although there are dozens of apps with very similar names(and icons), but don't work very well...
If/when(and I truly believe it's a WHEN not an IF) the Netflix and AppleTV+ security concerns get resolved such that they work the same as all the other apps work today - would your opinion change?
