I can corroborate that statement about most people in Colorado. I live in Colorado and I can’t think of a bigger fu*king asshat than me. I mean it’s really bad. I wave to myself every morning. What do I get back in return? Bad coffee, scones that taste like hemorrhoidal tissue, and then I force...
Here in Colorado I’ve seen COdogman a couple of times on I-25. I’ve waved to him and he’s been very friendly. He always waves back, but only with one finger.
Racer, this is really helpful thanks. Funny thing about the photo. That is the compressor hose in the bag from my wife’s new R1S. I opened it without taking it out of the bag and took pictures of it to try to emulate that when coiling up my R1T hose.
Well, the order has been placed. And the worst case scenario is that I’m supporting a small business. I can always find another use for it. I have a feeling it will work well, but we’ll see. ?
JJ, many thanks. I’m going to give this a try because 1.) it looks like a good, simple solution (i.e., not Bluetooth enabled!!), and 2.) I like what this small business is about - two guys with families doing this and their day jobs. Many thanks for the leader in this.
I have not come close to mastering this art!! Just call me a hoser.
What looks like this when first opening the air compressor hose bag…
…and then looks like this after trying to put it back in the bag after using the compressor?
Does anyone know a trick for coiling up the compressor hose...
I bought my R1T when Rivian had the promotion where if one grabbed a stock vehicle they sent a Rivian home charger free. It replaced a 12 year old AeroVironment level two that I had to get with my LEAF that I bought in 2011. The AeroVironment charger was absolutely trouble free. So far the...
Brancky, I agree!! As someone who purchased an R1T this past December and thus would be towards the back of the line, I TOTALLY support sending the adapters first to you all who have owned your R1s for a while. This is an excellent approach. All y’all put in the capital at a riskier time and...
Why let us know? Because it’s big news whose significance even Elon Musk despisers like me can appreciate. Rivian wants us to know that progress is being made on this and I for one think that is a very good communications move in their part.
That’s a really good question. I was looking at the map of the CO Front Range in my R1T and the supercharger in Boulder, near the intersection of 28th and Pearl, was listed as not compatible. I wandered east to the supercharger near Thornton, looked back at Boulder and the same Boulder...
“Old news” I guess means you’ve seen/heard something that others have not? Kinda like Hans Werner Henze’s Double Concerto having been written for oboist Heinz Holliger and his wife, harpist Ursula Holliger, is old news because I know that and you don’t? Got it!!
That’s a good point about the supercharger network access. I will only charge at a Tesla supercharger as a last resort as I have little stomach to give Musk any more money. My wife and I just completed our de-Musk-ification process when she took delivery of her R1S. But in a pinch? Yes I will...
