Does it matter? If the car is stopped in front of you facing straight, sideways, or upside down, do you want your vehicle to move forward or stay at a stand still? Continue standing still? Guess the correct action will be taken in that case.

Sounds like you were driving around in sport mode on the lowest ride setting, I tried that for a few minutes and had the exact same experience. I actually thought it might be an issue with the car and am planning to do some more tests across the drive modes to see if it's just how Sport handles...
