Total waste of time if this is bicycles. This market is completely saturated. Presumably -- to fit the Rivian ethos -- they'll try the MTB space. But all of the high end MTB makers are already making fantastic eMTBs, and people who buy those would view a Rivian bike as a gimmick.

Can't help but notice that all Rivian social media has gone dark since they updated the timing. Even LinkedIn! The company (correctly) believes that anything it posts in the near term is going to get flooded with angry comments.

I'm a November 2021 reservation. Glacier White, Forest Edge, AT dark, no UBS. I was between this config and Limestone + Ocean Coast. I suspect the ocean coast would have bumped me into the next window. Have my first mile next week and intend to pepper them with questions.

I'm heading over there for an R1S test drive next week. Hopefully will see a lot R1S getting prepped. I swung past a few months ago and there were tons of trucks. Will report back.
