when I was having that same issue, they had to replace the entire front suspension and the lines running to it, been good since; except them not properly getting it calibrated at first on my right side. (potential bad sensor)
I noticed a great deal less motor noise as well. However; I just got a new front drive unit and subframe installed and man is it WAY quieter than the old ones. I would bet i'm 6db quieter in the cabin under acceleration... Here I just thought my very loud bosch motors were just the way they...
try seeing if richmond can get you in earlier... Also keep in mind we're getting another SC here (supposedly) over in Sterling. So that should help alleviate things.
yikes... well then, I'd be looking at those welds and make sure none are starting to give up. I'm guessing that was a big part of my vibrations above 60mph...
Not sure what VIN they started swapping out to the newer cast frames, ya'll might be ok. Pretty easy to see if you look under and see welds, you're the older one.
Just wanted to chime in, got my truck back after just under 9 weeks. They ended up installing a new bosch front drive unit, all the mounting bits etc. They also replaced the subframe and a crap ton of parts (things like brake lines, mounts for all kinds of things, etc). Also swapped is the...
The bigger issue really isn't the service centers, it's that our trucks are having issues that even require they go into the service centers. At this point my truck has had 3 visits and not in my possession for over 3 months.. :/. I absolutely love my truck (when it works) but man they have...
Yea, it's really tough! I didn't mind having the Wagoneer for my 2600 mile trip during xmas; but now I'd like my truck back. I really hope it doesn't take 3+ more weeks to get the part in and fix it.
Interestingly I just got billed by enterprise this morning.... I've contacted Rivian as that...
Add my name to the list for new subframe... Truck (2022 R1T vin in low 3000s) went in for a really strange vibration / noise that would occur above 60 while under load (like up a hill or in a corner). The truck would sound like an internal combustion engine had turned on.... They started (Dec...
The biggest issue with video "reviews" like these.... Is that they never go back and edit / fix them as changes occur. For example the b*tching about the audio, evidently the latest release helped it a ton...
Personally, I'm going to hold on to my Gen1 R1T all the way up until the warranty...
finally added connect + yesterday after seeing what's coming in the next 2 releases... I want to get them as soon as avail ;). Really want that Casting one before xmas travels.
This is one of those threads that I feel the moderators should just rename / remove. It brings literally nothing of importance to the table and has been discussed at length so many times.
interestingly my trade value went up from the last time I tried out their tool.... tempting... Wonder how different the r1t gen 2 trimax ascend would be from my 3000vin r1t quad (has all the old features they've removed)...
I kinda wish the admins of this site would just delete crap like this where someone comes in and craps all over and is never seen again. Doesn't do anything for this site nor the community.
Just like the last 3 updates; I triggered remotely my car to wakeup 2-3 times and saw the data transfers start and now have the update. Very interesting how I guess the car on it's own only checks for updates / wakes it self up a few times a day.. doing it manually seems to perhaps speed it up.
I know on our tesla, it always routes us around 66 until I turn on "HOV" as it thinks it's a HOV only area.
For our Rivian, I just make sure and not have the avoid tolls part turned on. Worked great last night going to MJ down at the National Theater.
