Dropped mine off back last wednesday; was told an estimate of 5-7 business days. Comically the truck has the exact same amount of miles on it right now, and has moved one time from a parking spot down about 10 to another spot. Sure am glad they put me in a loaner R1S... At least this way...

Right on, yea I never watch this closely.. But great to see it finish and just advise everyone to ignore the initial error to contact support and just let it run the course.

And done. 42.2 now installed. Had a weird error that popped up and disappeared quickly saying update couldn't install and then said successful. Bet that's part of their "workaround" they did to get this going.

I think the key is to just have patience. I think mine sat at 0% for at least 10-15 minutes. Then it ticked up

well so far they haven't moved it or put it in service mode yet. I have a feeling they won't get to the truck today anyways... So if the update comes tonight, I'll get it done for them overnight. As I dont' think they'll have a way to do it without the app.... And they'll kinda need the...

Cannot wait to press go! Since mine's sitting at the SC anyways; not like it'll do any harm :D. I'll check and make sure they haven't moved it of course first...

Did a 50 mile drive the SC today, when I left it was around 40 or so, I forgot to pre-warm or to turn on any of the heat stuff... When I got there the cabin was a toasty 53f. While not ideal, glad it didnt' happen in the summer when it's super hot.

Just happened to have my R1T setup for service today (after a 3.5 month wait). Dropped it off this morning, and they were pretty interested to get one in at the service center with the issue. Guess they can use my truck as a test for the fix lol. side note, was pretty happy to get a R1S...

Did everyone get a text? I only got the email... reason I ask, is i'm the second owner of this, and I swear some stuff that should be coming to me, goes to the old owner as I see people talking about notices I never see.

When I spoke to them this morning they said it was fine to drive.

How is there any risk? Speedometer and everything is still fine. You just don’t have the radio / nav / hvac controls. Just trying to figure out how you would risk someone?
