Pretty sure this is caused by referring to it as a “frunk” which is a Tesla term. Call it a “front trunk”, or “bow boot” and it should work perfectly.

My wife ordered a custom config R1S and it showed up surprisingly fast, somewhere around 6 weeks. Dual motor, max pack, Rivian Blue, Ocean Coast interior, 21 inch tires.
Based on the original post, I purchased a GearIt Tesla Destination to J1772 adaptor. I just used it for the first time this past weekend and it was fabulous. The quality is really good - it does not seem at all cheap. Given that it is just under $70, as compared to at least $170 for a TeslaTap...
I just know this is going to be an effing popular opinion!! ?
I think Rivian should charge us for these adapters and think it’s stupid of Rivian to absorb the cost at this stage of their business evolution. Am I mistaken in my understanding that they are going to ship them free?
