Just for another perspective. Owned my R1T for 2 years and all of my experiences with the Rivian Service center, both in Denver and in Colorado Springs has been FANTASTIC!
My Rivian experience has been the best I have ever had with ANY vehicle I have owned over the last 50 years of driving...
CR list is crap. My Rivian, two years in, is one of THE best vehicles I have EVER owned. I have had one issue, one. its in the shop now, great customer service, I have a loaner, the issue is covered under warranty. I had a Ford that 100% died on the highway once (timing chain broke and...
Best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve never had the issues that you’re referring to. After a year and a half of ownership of only had to reset twice. I can’t imagine if I used a forum for my old jeep, just how long my complaint list would’ve had to been for that vehicle, after replacing both axles...
Sorry to hear about your experience. For all of those that are considering Rivian, here is another perspective. Had mine over a year (R1T, 1st gen) and 15K miles, long trips, around town, off-roading, snow, heat, and camping. By far, THE BEST vehicle I have ever owned.
I also have had no problems in the extreme cold weather. In fact, my wife and I both enjoy just how quickly the Rivian heats up and how warm the Rivian can be. The new schedule feature, let’s the car determine how much time it needs to get up to temperature.
First, sorry to hear about your issues. I wanted to post this for all of the prospective buyers out there reading the forums. I have had my R1T 8 months, 8,500 miles on it and had no problems, other then a small dent on a door that was there on delivery. I had the windshield replaced (Rock...
Just had my windshield replaced in Colorado Springs, $1,700 for everything. I think this has more to do with the repair shop knowing the guy was "CEO of CloudFare" - and then taking him to the cleaners!
I rented a Model X and drove 3,800 miles across the country before taking delivery of my Rivian R1T - just to confirm I wanted to go the full EV experience. The Tesla seems very "plasticky" to me and I had multiple problems with it (AC going out with 10 hours left to go in 95 degree temps), and...
Actually, it was 11 min 30 seconds into the video. Spoiler alert: Claim it was to improve his debt ratio and save money, specifically to buy a house in the near future.
Totally agree. Our worst vehicle ever, a Jeep Grand Cherokee: New front AND rear axles, water pump (2x), new radiator, new master break cylinders, multiple computer failures, drivers window had to be replaced, etc. problem after problem. I am LOVING my R1T. Best vehicle I have ever owned...
Yea, makes me think that there are other "rare issues" with the 12 volt battery system which remain undiscovered. Time will tell if they have nipped this serious issue in the bud.
I hear what you are saying, but it's not a "cream puff" either (see "Fully Loaded! Can an EV Pickup (Rivian R1T) Survive a Hard Days Work?": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XuvwkIxrXw
