    I think the reference was to the number of cars that could be charged per day at each charger. Faster charging requires fewer stations.

    I tried top down and lasted like 1 mile on the freeway before pulling over. I would have taken the windows off, but there's no good way to store them. It's also crazy that you really can't secure the back area at all.

    Oh, I get that underground power lines are a much higher investment upfront. Long term, the reduced maintenance costs help defray the initial costs. Clearly in rural areas underground power may not be feasible, though northern California would probably save $ on fire fighting if they put lines...

    My Bolt will regularly regen at 50kW on downhills, which is as fast as it charges on DCFC. I'd hope the R1T would do as well or better with AWD and more mass.

    As someone who spends a significant amount of time in Europe, the American overhead power lines seemso archaic and ugly. Makes US cities seem like cities in developing countries.

    Auto manufacturing, especially of EVs, provides more high skill jobs than an Amazon warehouse. It will be a benefit to local businesses, schools, and the local workforce.
