Did you happen to receive any notice it had shipped or did it just show up? I picked up my R1S in August and haven't heard anything so curious when you purchased your vehicle if I'm getting close...
Thank you
Received mine yesterday, my vehicle is in service so can't try it out yet. I'm surprised the packaging didn't say Gen 2 or something on it. There was no packing slip on the box either
I have a Gen2 R1S delivered in August, this is a problem I've had as well. Initially everything worked fine until an update. Then all the cars disappeared except the one in front accompanied by a "front radar sensors blocked" warning. First service visit took about 3 weeks where they...
I resonate with the service issues. I've had my Gen2 R1S since August 17 and I have my third SC appointment early January here. Total time to date at the SC has been 7 weeks. Hoping next isn't 3-4 weeks at the SC. But Rivian has always been good at schedule flexibility for pickup and loaners or...
You can also tap your phone to that part of the handle and this works for me, though it does require one to take the phone out of your pocket. @mpshizzle mentioned this in a thread and it works for me every time! The button press on the handle doesn't seem to work well for me unless I take my...
Thanks for the info! My sister's family lives near Osceola and my parents in Rice Lake. I've always been skittish venturing up there with the lack of chargers so great to hear you found one in Osceola. Sometime when i have the time for charging stops i'll have to take the Riv up there on a...
After installing the update last night, when i started up the vehicle this morning, i got a warning "adaptive headlights not working" (something to that effect), with "service soon". after i took my drive and came home i did a hard reset and will have to see if it went away next time i use the...
Mine also popped up that's new software is ready, but wouldn't highlight for me to update on my phone. Went out to the vehicle and it's there but says " Not ready for update "
Also in the notes it says the improved acceleration response in all purpose mode is for Tri motor vehicles
I'd call Rivian service and have them push you the .43 update. I had to do that when I picked up my R1S in August when an update came out right before I picked it up.
I've also been told to capture diagnostic logs when an issue is happening so when I bring it in for service they can pull the logs and read the instantaneous data I've captured at a point in time. I hold the little widget/person icon by my name on the screen for roughly 5 seconds and it says...
Yeah man, it was there for almost a month, they put about 60 miles on troubleshooting. Hah. Replace x, take it for a drive...no joy. Calibrate y, take it for a drive...no joy. Finally they started tracing and checking continuity in wiring and bam. Then they had to wait for the whole side view...
FYI they ended up finding a wiring issue in my driver's side mirror that was causing a camera issue. They replaced my driver's side mirror and fixed the issue.
Welcome! I also have a Gen2 R1S, i have the A/T package w/max pack for an EPA estimated 370 mile range. I'm in Huntsville but we've had a few colder snaps, where i have noticed a dramatic decrease in range. Last weekend i drove to family over by atlanta in 33-35 degree temps, and averaged...
