My issue with compressor is that the number it shows is different then what the car states and what my hand reader gives. I just note what I see and add that to what the compressor reads to get the psi I want. Not ideal though.
Completed my first trip towing small camper trailer. Hiker trailer is the company and it's their 5x9 box and 13’frame. Weight of the trailer is approximately 1600 lbs with our camp gear in it.
Towing conditions were temps in 60s on the way up and 80s on the return and wind generally light all...
Just want to add a good experience of Atlanta sc. Noticed two issues with the truck after purchase (not safety related). Received a phone call later that day asking to schedule a date. I chose a date that was going to allow me to drop off the truck on the way back from Chattanooga to NW Florida...
My vehicle accident happened right around 1500 mile mark. I was at stopped at a stop light and impacted directly in the rear at probably 30mph. The truck barely moved as a result of the impact so I can say I would feel extremely safe driving in one.
The end result was a bent frame on both rear...
Have the same sound. Noise occurs twice during the first 20ish seconds after AC is turned on. Afterwards the noise is gone and AC acts as expected. Dropping mine off while driving by Atlanta in two weeks. Curious what yours ends up being.
I do have the estimate the collision center did. Biggest component was the frame which ended up being bent near the rear section on each side. Most of the rest of the cost was for removing parts in order to replace the frame and then the rear bumper area/ panels where the exterior damage...
So yes it ended up being a total loss. Took a bit of time but the at fault said and my insurance agreed. They will pay out plus 20 percent on top of the cash value based off comps of other vehicles. Should get the payout next week.
If you take a look around the forum from about a month ago you'll see a post about getting rear ended by a Honda Civic. Not anywhere as bad as your accident and I'm glad all are recovering well.
Rivian pointed me in the direction of the closest approved collision center and can say they've...
I've had that more when charging closer to 85% limit but also at 70. The Regen limit appears on dash but went away relatively quickly. Plus I didn't really feel any difference in amount of Regen because my first few minutes of driving is usually relatively slow. Based in NW Florida so...
With my uneducatedish eyes I would say it's just the plastic after looking underneath and where the tailgate is pushing in. We'll see what the smarter people say. Still haven't gotten any other warning lights saying issues with battery etc.
I didn't realize I was hit until a few seconds later when I started to see smoke and then noticed the blue of the civic in rear view mirror. I can say that from rear impacts you probably have no fear thanks to the beefy nature of the R1T.
Asking for my bulldog. How much were they asking by chance?
Also I did just email my guide. See what he says. Collecting all information at this time to make the best decision.
My pricing was pre March. I'm a pretty calm person but if insurance tried to play that game with truck value that would open a can of worms they don't want.
Luckily I've still got a 17 year old mustang with very faded racing stripes that I can drive once the truck goes in. Still wish I had gotten to tow with the truck. That was my plan for today haha
Turns out 7k lb truck wins vs Civic. Three weeks into ownership and loving the truck so far. Was on the way home yesterday and stopped at a red light. After turning green started to accelerate when felt a slight lurch forward and a bunch of lights go on the dash. The lights went away and I...
