Same issues here, replaced under warranty 4 months ago. My steering wheel wear was way worse. April 2023 delivery, 25K miles. Edit, I don't wear rings and am the only driver.

This is intriguing… I have an Adventure forest green r1T that was delivered in April. Currently sitting at 13.8k miles with underbody shield, 20 dark ATs, and ocean coast. The only issue is that I’m in CA, but are you in principal interested in the truck? I can send over pics and videos.

FWIW i took delivery April 17 in NorCal and the destination was $1,800, documentation $70, title and registration $1000+ (ouch!!)

That was my guess as well since Northern California was also in the midst of a heatwave but it was also 1 am and only maybe 82 degrees out. I have been charging in Sacramento and the Central Valley the last couple days in 100 degree heat without adjusting hr amps so that seems a little...

This is crazy frustrating. I spent 2 hours at 1AM trying to get my r1t to take any charge from multiple evgo and EAs stations. It would only charge for 4 minutes and then the red error would appear on the screen. I even called evgo for the first time ever and they said a car just charged fully...
