I held back during my first mile with guide too so I didn't get to experience full throttle, so I definitely understand where you're coming from. Guides, if you're reading this you should encourage your customers to launch it! Looking forward to full send once my S arrives!
Honestly, I think same as it happened to me, which is quality issues and they had to take it back but were not able to find you a replacement further down the production line immediately. Mine was in the 11xx and got replaced with 13xx
I got my original VIN removed as well (11xx) and replaced with a higher VIN #. Waiting on response from guide about it all. A few other folks running into same issue with 1xxx and 11xx stacks, hopefully its not a large amount of production vehicles being recalled back..
Lets hope this is good news as the newly assigned VIN is a lot higher than 11xx. Hoping they don't hold you up either, receiving your LE should be top priority for them being 2018 holder!
As I said in my other post, my VIN got reassigned too, here in CA waiting on word from the rep. Didn't receive your VIN number and my original VIN was in the 11xx also.
Has anyone who received their VIN number had it change? I logged into my account today and a completely different VIN # having made absolutely no modifications to order ?
UPDATE: Guide reached out, appears there were QC issues at the factory and so they swapped me into a new VIN which will be...
Yes drove Glacier White LE, very impressive (having not stepped into a Rivian before). 8-step has been fairly straightforward so far:
Step 1: Title & Registration
Step 2: Trade-in?
Step 3: Type of Financing?
Step 4: Insurance
Step 6: Sign Contract
Step 7: Payment
Step 8: Schedule Delivery
