Yup! I am making it rain as I am writing this...... I did receive the email from Rivian as well. A clear indication of following the directions given.

As per Rivian, put the 8/15/2022 as the in service date as well as the acquisition date. Both dates will have be matched for the credit to appear in TurboTax. This is what I did just before the Rivian guidance but I used the date I signed the BPA which was 08/10/2022. Hope this helps, tren01t

Thanks Dark-fx for the heads up! Well, I signed the BPA last year on 08/10/22, took delivery on 02/25/2023 and have already filed my 2022 Federal taxes and got a refund last week. So either I could amend my 2022 taxes or go balls deep for 2023.

I got lucky since the truck was already at the sc when I selected it from the R1 shop. i have heard in other cases that some trucks are in Normal and would ship by rail thus the delay.

Like you, I was on the fence between both colors. Here's what helped me to decide. 1. Contrast of trim and body color and wheel choice. I am going with the 20AT's 2. Perception of size with darker colors versus lighter colors. Vehicles in darker colors imho look smaller than in lighter colors...

Spoke to my guide about this about 2 weeks ago. From his knowledge, it will be a year before the powered tonneau cover will be released. Still in development, will need to tested, etc., prior to release. I will be getting a manual tonneau cover. It will be added to my order and shipped to me...
