  1. Vampire Drain solar cell mounting option

Good luck - did you moisten the cups at all before sticking? (yes I know how that sounds). I have the same setup but just putting the panel on the dash for now. It's been working, but would like a semi-permanent setup and the glass over my head would be fine with me. I have a similar setup...
  2. Vampire Drain Fix: How to solve in under a minute (indoor or outdoor)

I've installed the same setup as the OP. Pretty nice solar panel and integrated battery charger. I park outside connected to L2 Charger at home, so I just put the panel on the dash. It's been charging away for the past few days. During that time I haven't had any "top off" charging occur...

  6. Undocumented Changes in 2025.06

I've seen an increase in the BT range used to unlock the car. Previously I could have my phone two stories away from the R1 in the driveway and it would remain locked. Now it unlocks from this distance. I have changed the BT Unlock to exclude home to resolve.

  9. Quality of Life Improvements with Home Assistant Automation Tasks

  14. Gen 1 Rolling Suspension changes

Yes, I don't have the jounce line squeaking. My issue I described as: Concern: - Customer states: on an undisclosed date and time since "delivery the vehicle has had a significant clunking noise from the left front and left rear suspension. This occurs when the suspension is unweighted such...
  15. Gen 1 Rolling Suspension changes

I'll add some data. My 2024 R1T VIN 7FCTGBAA3RN03XXXX went in for a clunking suspension fix this week. While the problem wasn't fixed (sigh) the attempt to do so was the replacement of the front dampers (I already had the hub bolt fix done in a previous visit). Ride quality was good before...

I installed a CarPlay pass thru device on my Cayenne "PCM" screen in 2020 - long press on Navigation button switches the mode. Works really well, including audio streaming and touchscreen. Watching with interest!
  19. R1T ski trip with family from San Francisco CA to Bend OR

Thanks for the informative trip report. I'd say you are brave to make this trip with a jumped 12v battery! I'm working on repurposing a 30A Generator feed cable to use with 3 prong Dryer outlets - would appreciate seeing how you handled this.
