  1. New Software, New Bugs

I agree that dependency/reference changes are not always discussed with the PM depending on how technical they are (when I am in this role I look at every check in for a given item but that isn't common). These dependency changes would only be done as part of a work item where code was touched...
  2. New Software, New Bugs

I think any good PM should know every item that was in the sprint - and could always confirm each work item with the dev leads before writing release notes. Basic software product management.
  3. Quad vs DM

    I'm very happy I didn't get a chance to test drive a Quad :)
  4. 2024.27.1 and 2024.27.30 Update are rolling out for Gen1 and Gen2

This is my first update cycle. I've been trying the scheduled update without any action yet. Just turned that off while I am awake. Does it make any difference since the update is a push request to the vehicle?
  5. 2024.27.1 and 2024.27.30 Update are rolling out for Gen1 and Gen2

I opted in last night (annual subscription) and have Auto Updates on, connected to WiFI and plenty of charge. No update yet :) - I keep moving the install time up after the update doesn’t appear.
  6. Gen 1 Vampire Drain (Possibly) Solved (or Hacked)

This makes me want to try using an RV plug to feed solar panel 12v to the 12v battery when parled for extended periods (at home). Won’t help at night but might reduce the main battery pack drain somewhat. Other use for the RV plug would be easily connect a battery tender (I’ve got lots of...
  7. Apple Watch As A Key works great on Gen 1 with WAAK app

Just an update that I have been rebooting watch or force closing WAAK and reopening to get it connected. Works fine after that.
  8. First Look: Rivian Travel Kitchen for R1T, R1S, R2, R3 & R3X ($1400)

This is actually better than I thought but IDK about the price…
  9. Saturday Errands turned into Hit & Run

Darn. Don’t be afraid to use a long blast on the horn - that will trigger the Dashcam recording
  10. KO3 tires installed on 20" steel wheels rims

Based on specs, looks and price these seem like an excellent option.
  11. Pics & Videos: Trip over Imogene Pass, Colorado with R1T

Nice drive and cool video. Putting this on my bucket list when out west. Thanks for sharing.
  12. MPP's Rivian Towing Journal

    Cool. Signing on for updates.
  13. iOS App 2.12.1 just released

I have new app working. Don’t see Photos in App Permissions. Maybe that will be added if I add content to a service chat.
  14. Rivian Service Experience - Share Your Experience

Mostly Agreed. I’m only looking for a reasonable wait for addressing serious issues or already paid for items missing on delivery, and a reasonable turn around when the service is performed (not waiting weeks with car in the SC for a 4 hour PTC install to be done). I want items to be addressed...
  15. Rivian Service Experience - Share Your Experience

It’s nothing like Lexus or any established luxury brand. As others have noted it greatly depends on the situation with your local service center. I live in a highly populated part of the East Coast and my experience hasn’t been optimum...
  16. Removing the “leather” part of the dashboard behind the screens

Use a magnet tool to get the bit out. Might take some fishing around but that is the fastest option.
