Ran out of battery for the first time
Had the same thing happen to my friends R1S, ran out of battery, zero, nada.. Luckily there was an EA about 200 yards away behind a motel in Mojave Ca..phone lit up “call tow truck now” all in red, we did but realized it would take longer as they didn’t want to deal with an EV. We even tried... -
Cross Country (Maryland to Arizona) in the Rivian R1S Tri and on the Indian Pursuit!
Great adventure 🤓 my boyfriend and I were traveling with an 20+ foot Rv and charged up to about 60%. A few minutes after leaving a Tesla supercharger our battery lit up, temps to 130 degrees, whole battery panel lit up and the vehicle started losing power. Agree, if the infrastructure was set up with more fast chargers along the routes of about every 50 miles in a perfect world, it would make long distance towing an RV less hassle and hopefully smoother with trailer pull throughs Towing with our 20 foot +RV, my roommate made it a point to look for... -
