Yes, they painted the entire hood and it is a spot-on exact match. I'll need to get Quartz applied to the new hood, but I want to let that new paint cure a bit longer.
This is a bit of an old thread, but it is worth revisiting. I took my truck in for the hood depression and flutter problem. Long story short, the first time they tried to adjust and fill with foam/ epoxy to shore up. That didnāt work. The attached picture is of the hood after the first fix.

Iāve had a RB loaner R1T for a couple of weeks. I must admit, itās a great color! Gets lots of looks. Iāve had two speed trap scares as the blue doesnāt blend with the pavement the way that my LA silver does. Watch your speed!
I had my windshield replaced recently. I hopped in the car and the first thing I tested was the wipers (see last paragraph). The auto wipers were not working. The tech came back out and ran a diagnostic and found that he did not reset a sensor or setting after having replaced the windshield. He...
Iāve been using Tidal, but will likely fall back to the Apple or Amazon if I start feeling like the subscription fee is too much. The $12.99 fee is a bit high, but I do like the offerings.
Their ādaily discoveryā list is pretty good at offering stuff that Iād actually want to hear.

I had the issue, flutter and depression/ lifting around the logo. The hood flutter was adjusted, but the depression is still there. Iām not at all happy with the results. Iāve never had it on a car before this one. SC said they added foam. It really does need to be replaced under warranty IMO.
Kyleās post didnāt mention Electrify America. The post referenced by Kyle was a direct post by an Owner who had an issue with Electrify America. I have no problem with Kyleās post in the case.
I had a panic one time when I realized that the folded passenger mirror was only inches away from the sprayer housing. I was sitting there thinking, ādoesnāt the rear of the truck flair out a bit?ā I was worried that the moving housing would scrap the fender flairs. Thankfully it didnāt.
Qmerit hooked me up with an electrician that came out and installed the needed 60 amp breaker and installed the wall charger all for $800. The installer placed it right next to the electrical panel in the garage, so there werenāt any long runs, etc.
I had this setup prior to my trip to Dallas over Christmas. I couldnāt get it to initiate without app interactions. My account says my R1T is setup. I wasnāt sure what the issue was, but at least the app worked every time.
I did the same thing yesterday. I spent a few hours starting with the tires and then doing the truck from the top down. I used all the items that out of spec detailing suggested. Had the whole three bucket setup going. Iām sure my neighbor across the street thought I was a lunatic.
I didnāt...
I bit the bullet and ordered the 5620 glass cleaner. It arrived in a box marked with a warning that it will freeze. It doesnāt really state that it is for use as a wiper fluid. Reads more like it is a general purpose/ surface glass cleaner. Iāll use it for that and keep searching.
The smell is...
There is a suspension tear down video by Munro that shows there are, indeed, both a suspension air compressor and a separate auxiliary air compressor for accessories and tires.
I like that option too (and the Audi has stopped at a bunch of them), but having a dedicated charging stop that is a bit unique and cool would make my list of stops. Heck, at this point I have a trip tomorrow and welcome any working chargers on the way.
We need more people placing charging stations like this. Itās a great start! They appear to be building at least one other station.

It may not be the cheapest, but if it is dependable it will be a big hit!
