More control would be good. When used as you depict, the windshield and wipers still ice up.

It is no trouble to turn It on. Once on, it has one speed - HI.

Please, please, please make the blower speed on defrost variable. In snowy and icy conditions, the wipers tend to freeze if defrost is not kept active. Running defrost at HI overheats the cabin and is annoyingly loud.

I have this problem at home. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes or more of repeated requests to preheat or unlock to finally stimulate the R1T to wake.

Please keep posting! I am coming up on 20k on my 20” ATs and am looking for more economy and ride quality. Has anyone asked Rivian to reprogram their 20” wheels with 275/60/R20s as 21” wheels?

Ride will improve with little loss of range if you reduce your tire pressure by a couple of pounds. Just my .02.

I just got the “tocking” noise from the rear at 17,000 miles. Was there ever a definitive fix from Rivian?

Looks great! I’m sure the ride is better and much quieter than the factory ATs. With 20k miles, I’ll be looking fairly soon. Please let us know how they are working out!

-13 this morning. Power went out an hour or two before dawn. Lay in bed wondering when to pull out the portable generator. V2H can’t come soon enough!

I’ve done pretty well leaving the truck plugged in and in pet mode overnight in freezing precip. It seems to work reasonably well for door handles and wipers.
