There is no "standard." And when the filters start to get clogged, a pump can be very slow.
Edit: Costco's maintenance is usually pretty good, so a slow pump would probably have its filters changed before it became obnoxiously slow.
I have. I never bothered to time it, in all of the hundreds of times I bought gas at Costco, but I am quite certain that I never equaled either of those numbers. Sure Costco lines move fairly fast, but average of 4, and max of 10 - not my experience. And I'd rather be sitting in my EV doing...
It is substantial. Park your Rivian in the sun for awhile, and then touch the underside of the pano glass - it will be hot - so the pano glass is radiating and convecting heat into the cabin. Then touch the headliner anywhere, it won't be all that hot, comparatively.
And even though most of the...
It appears to have been a rock impact. I recall once when a rock appeared to hit near the top of the windshield. It made a sound loud enough that I expected to at least see a chip or star crack, but I never found a corresponding impact point. Months later I noticed that the pano glass was...
I bet it would pass the Kim Java test, even now. And I'm sure it outlasted the glass roof on my R1T, which is currently shattered. And, you most likely have the option to repair your carbon fiber roof at substantially less cost than replacing a glass roof.
But I'm glad you posted those pics - it...
Rivian isn't paying retail cost for batteries - not for the AGM batteries, or for Lithium batteries (if they chose to install them). However, the cost to Rivian to replace any battery as a service item is far, far higher than the cost to install a somewhat more expensive battery on the...
Connect your 12V battery to a trickle charger with desulphation cycle, at least part of the time. That would likely be far more effective at keeping your battery alive (and healthy) than keeping it "plugged in the home EVSE."
As others have mentioned, use a battery-tender type trickle charger (preferably with desulphation cycle). Do this for each battery (you can use one charger, and switch between them), as much as possible between now and the time you have to take it in to the SC. This should improve the health of...
It's the glass roof (now badly cracked) that "seems like an expensive extra" to me. My headliner hasn't cracked, and still functions as intended (noise and heat isolation).
I wasn't implying that. However, for the person (who I replied to) that said he would have Rivian check it out prior to crossing the 36,000 mile threshold - that's a snapshot that is good for that day only. It could fail a few miles or days later. And, as long as it meets whatever the minimum...
I would have bought my R1T without back seats, if it had been available that way (and if the discount had been substantial). In three years, I've probably had someone in the back seats three times. But I keep the backseat area loaded with tools/supplies almost all of the time.
Didn't realize that it was about to be retired. Junkyards/used-parts might be a sources, as well, but if the recent models have a smaller frunk, due to the heat pump, there would be a limited supply of those. If I was in the market for an Mach-E, I would be looking for an alternate source.
