I have the same question. Why would Rivian benchmark a cheapass, Escape-based, FWD-biased soft-roader? The Bronco Sport is nothing but an Escape with a pair of overalls on.
How reliable has your Model 3 been in those 100,000 miles. I just hit 41,000 miles on my 2021 SR+ and it has been rock-solid reliable. Not a single issue so far (other than the sh!tty automatic windshield wipers).
Exactly. 0-60 in 3 seconds for a sports car versus 0-60 in 3 seconds in a 4,500 to 5,500 lb eSUV that is designed for off-roading instead of being a handling/performance-oriented vehicle are vastly different IMHO. It's more of a novelty in the latter, versus being a part of the entire package in...
I don't give a hoot about 0-60 times... all I care about is that range. I want to spend the least amount to get the most range from the R2.
I'd be happy with 0-60 in around 5 seconds, which is what my '21 Model 3 SR+ does. And even that feels wicked fast to me. Besides, who goes around blasting...
This has a 115" wheelbase, while the Element has a 101" wheelbase. The added distance between the wheels is for fitting that big battery pack. If you shrink that down, you shrink the range available.
Nobody wants that...
And at 186 inches, it's not exactly big. It will easily fit in American...
Yeah, I see that. but the fact that you can see daylight instead of the darkened interior of the vehicle lead me to believe that we were looking at the cutout under the spoiler. Or I'm probably just overanalyzing like I always do :CWL:
I think that the messaging is right on the mark. The Model Y is priced from $42,000 (base, RWD) to around $55,000 for a Performance and qualifies for the $7,500 tax credit. The Model Y was the best-selling vehicle (ICE or EV) in the world last year and was the #5 best-selling car in the United...
Ohh, I didn’t realize that mobile service operated that far from the actual service centers (closest ones being Atlanta and Richmond). That’s awesome news!
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm in Garner, NC (just outside of Raleigh), and I'm going to put my name in the pot for an R2S. My question (in relation to this thread) is, how are you guys taking delivery?
It seems as though the best course of action for me would be to take delivery in...
I'll be waiting to plunk down my $100. We currently have a 2021 Model 3 SR+ (mine) and a 2023 Model Y Long Range (my wife's). I'll be replacing my Model 3 with the R2S (hopefully).
I'm just wondering what the efficiency is going to be like. Hopefully it's not too-too bad compared to our Model...
