Exactly. Highly unlikely to run the battery down that far in a day. In the rare instance I do, an overnight charge would be plenty sufficient for a normal day's driving. Otherwise, DCFC is an option.
When I lived in Portland, I used SnapPlate on my Model 3 when heading to downtown. It’s otherwise in my frunk taking up space. I moved to Bend last year and have never put it on.
*I hope there are no Bend PD on this forum to come bust me. ?

I'm planning to get 21" wheels for my R1S to maximize range but want to get a second set of wheels to mount snow tires on. I'm thinking 20". I assume I can mount P275/55R20 snow tires on them. Wondering if that'll look weird. Thoughts?
I saw a Rivian Blue R1T in-person at the Seattle preview and it's stunning. They also had an LA Silver R1T and a Forest Green R1S. I want to see a Compass Yellow R1S. The rendering on the configurator likely doesn't do it justice.
Sweet!
Wouldn't you think they have counter measures in-place though for just such activity? Not my UAV, so I'm not concerned about a loss, but some may deem it worth the risk for some secret imagery. Have at it!!!
